Awaiting Payment

Cash orders wait here until the customer has paid. They're held out of the kitchen — they don't appear in Confirmed, and your GrubStack Terminal display doesn't show them either, unless you've turned on payment handling for that display — so nothing is made until you've been paid.

Marking an order as paid

When the customer arrives and hands over the cash, find their order by its number and click Mark as Paid. The order moves to Confirmed and your kitchen can start it. Marking an order as paid requires permission to maintain orders.

Cancelling an order

Click Cancel Order if the customer changes their mind or doesn't show up. There's no payment to refund.

Cash orders that aren't paid within 60 minutes are cancelled automatically, and unpaid cash orders never count toward your sales in Reports.
